A Fae’s Mate, book 2 in the Mate Series
by Daniella Whitehorse
Can eternal love really conquer all?
Vincent Daenyr, a Welsh Fae, is no ordinary fae. He is a Dragon Fae. His wings are those of a dragon and he has a tail which many faefolk do not. He is an outcast but because of his mixed blood he is subject to both the laws of the fae and the dragon. The day soon came that he was ordered to marry someone, to be bonded to his Denaria, his Mate, by his next birthday, February 14th because if he failed to do so, he would die. This being Dragon Lore, he set about finding a woman he could wed in a few short weeks and someone he would be willing to spend the rest of his extended life with.
Can he find someone, anyone, that he could spend the rest of his life with? To be beside him, to carry his children but most of all, to make him see how beautiful he is, not the abomination he believes himself to be?
Harmony Skye, who is visiting Wales, is mostly human. Although she dated humans in the past she never felt right with any of them. They never seemed like the right one for her. So she decided to travel in search of ‘The One’, her true match, the one she had always been looking for. Little did she know that when in Wales, the last place she thought she would find the one she had been waiting for, most of her life.
Can she convince the man that is the only one for her, that she is the right one and to make him see that he is worth loving, worth fighting for?
Meet the Author of A Fae’s Mate
I write because I love to do and because I have to write the ideas out of my head and they turn into the stories I weave and write. I love seeing what I create, where a particular line of thought will go and what I will create through it. It is the closest thing to magic I think is out there.
My first publication was in Santa’s Naughty List Anthology, which sadly is no longer available as it was only out for the holiday season, An Incubus’ Mate. And this would be my second, though there are many more to come.
I love everything paranormal and have done for a very long time and you will find that I like to twist and push the boundaries of the myths and legends surrounding the characters I create.
