Cover Artist: Christopher Reuel
I was asked recently about how I came up with the tattoo on the cover of "Finding the Dragon." Well, it always helps to be married to an artist! LOL
Mr. Reuel and I sat down and discussed our thoughts and my visions for the covers of the Dásreach Council Novels. The plan was to write 13 novels and I wanted them to be similar and unique at the same time. I wanted a reader to be able to look at the cover and say, "That's a Dásreach Novel."
As I worked on the history of the Dásreach race and why the current Thirteen were desperately searching for their mates, it was decided that there would be 8 different animals that the men would be able to shift into.
Mr. Reuel currently has completed the tattoos for the Dragon (on the first release), the Panther, the Bear, the Wolf, the Falcon, the Fox, and is now working on the Eagle. In a few more drawing sessions the Eagle will be finished and he will start on the Mountain Lion.
So there you have it... my covers are unique because they were created by my very own artist, the very talented Christopher Reuel.
